Large Paper Snowflake

FullSizeRender.jpg

I made a large paper snowflake that is perfect for indoor winter decorations. Very easy craft that is doable for most ages.

Supplies

For this project you will need six pieces of paper per snowflake, scissors, and a stapler.

Fold the paper in a triangle to line up on each side. Cut off the remaining section that was not folded. Disregard rectangle piece of paper.

Fold the triangle once more in half to make a smaller equilateral triangle.

Cut three lines starting at the folded side. DO NOT cut all the way through, stop slightly before.

Fully unfold the triangle. Face it towards yourself so it looks like diamonds.

Connect the point of the first diamond together by stapling it.

Continue this switching sides each time until all sides are stapled to its complementary side. Repeat steps 1-6 five more times before continuing.

Hold all six snowflake pieces by one side, lining them up together. Staple in the center to attach all the pieces together.

Staple the middle of each piece to the one next to it. Repeat this step until the snowflake is fully stapled to all sides. Finally the large paper snowflake will be complete and ready for decorating.
