Laptop Stand (based on IKEA Brackets)








Create this stand took less than 20 minutes.
I used two brackets VALTER from IKEA piece of wood , 2 screws and old mouse pad.

Prepare for Cutting

Mark line on the one side of the brackets with pencil.
Cutting the Edges

Cut the edge on one side of bracket. Keep cutted pieces we will use them in next step.
Fixing Holders

Now take cutted edges and fix them in oposite direction to the bottom part of bracket.
Glue gun will do just fine.

Measure

Measure your laptop to find what distance is best for you.
Make sure that brackets wont cover your laptop fan (if located on bottom of laptop)
Cut piece of wood and drill holes.

Wraping Up

Fix brackets together with glue gun and screws.
Aditionaly you can add soem softpads to avoid scratches.
