Laptop Stand

Hello, Am Allen Devaraj doing my Bachelors in Aeronautical engineering at Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, India and this instructable is about how you design your own laptop stand.

A laptop stand is a device or accessory designed to elevate and support a laptop computer, providing a more comfortable and ergonomic working experience. Here I have designed my own to keep it cheap and simple.

Here we use Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or ABS Plastic that is printed through a 0.1mm nozzle diameter with 15% infill using a 3D printer.

Design and refine the entire CAD model using various different features available in Fusion 360

Reduce as much material as possible while keeping it structurally stable

I've employed an equilateral triangle shape unlike the isosceles-shaped ones being sold online to make them more stable along with grips (friction-inducing parts) at the bottom.

There you go, a simple and cheap laptop stand to keep your laptops elevated and cooled!!
