Lanyard Adjuster
This sliding knot allows you to adjust the size of your lanyard loop.
For this I used 19" of 1/4" cotton cord.
Tie this knot directly onto your lanyard loop.
Note: When you tie this knot with synthetic (slippery) material the ends can work their way back through the knot causing it to collapse. A dab of glue between the ends and the knot will prevent this.
Although it is not necessary to glue the ends when tying the knot when using cotton cord you will not be remiss in doing so.
Bring right hand end around loop once.
and a second time.
Now bring that end over the standing end and under the two turns.
Bring the standing end (other end) under the two turns. It is now the working end.
In the next few steps you will new working end and wrap around twice going in the space between the turns made in steps one and two (shown as a in photo).
Start the first turn.
Continue in the space.
Continuing.
Almost done.
With hemostat (forceps, needle nose plier) pull the end through the knot.
Knot is complete,
Tighten.
Trim ends close to the knot (at a in photo).
