Lamp Made With Bottle
Have you ever kept beautiful bottles of alcohol just because they are pretty without knowing what to do with them? I suggest a super simple project to reuse them: turn an empty bottle into a lamp !
Supplies
Materials:
- a lampshade
- a bottle with its cork
- a light bulb
- a socket with threaded rod and switch
- a drill with a bit the size of the threaded rod of the socket
- a lampshade
- a bottle with its cork
- a light bulb
- a socket with threaded rod and switch
- a drill with a bit the size of the threaded rod of the socket
Fix the Lampshade With the Socket
Tighten the lampshade firmly on the chosen socket. You will no longer have to separate these two elements from the whole creation.
Drill a Hole in the Cork
Take your cork and attach it securely. Then gently drill a hole in the center of the cork slightly smaller than the diameter of the threaded rod.
Gently Push the Cork and the Threaded Rod Into the Cork
It's time to put the cork back into the bottle, push it in gently so as not to crumble it and damage the hole. Once the cork is in place, repeat the operation by gently pushing the threaded rod of the sleeve (assembled with the lampshade) into the cork. Once this is done, check that the rod is pushed in deep enough.
Add the Bulb in the Socket
The preparation is done, it's time to add the bulb to our beautiful lamp to finalize this project.
Place Your Lamp, Plug It in and Enjoy
Here the tutorial is finished you just have to plug your lamp and admire it! Thank you for following this tutorial!
