If your lace is wide like mine, you can cut it in half. If not, buy just over double the width of your sweater.

Flip your sweater inside out.

Place lace trim with as much or little overhang as you desire.

Glue lace down and let dry for 72 hours.

Dress - Create Open Back

Trace the desired size of scoop back neckline you'd like.

(You can also buy a scoop back dress/shirt and skip this step)

Cut along your chalk line.

Dress - Attach Ribbon

Cut ribbon in half (you'll want each length to be half a metre or more).

Put fabric glue on one end and glue to the top inside of your open scoop back.

Repeat on opposite side.

Angle ribbon downwards when gluing.

Dress - Finish Off Ribbon

Trim each loose end of ribbon to an angled point.

Take clear nail polish and line the cut on the ribbon you just made. (This will prevent fraying).
