Lace Express
Shoes and sneakers tells a lot about a person. It speaks about where they come from and what they do. For this project, I wanted to experiment with combining Typography and Shoelaces where the user can express his/her thoughts through the way s/he ties their shoelace.
Materials:
1- Fabric, plastic or any material that you feel you want to use as a template for your shoes
2- Blade, X-Acto or a Laser Cutter if available
3- Patience... :)
NOTE: Please download attached .pdf for a visual step on how to tie your shoe lace according to the alphabet you chose. The .pdf already hase laser-cut ready templates for the letter you choose. You can combine, mix and match letter or even create your own letter template...have fun!
