Lace Baby Headband With Felt Flower
I made these for a friend who said that she wanted less restricting headbands for her baby girl. They are super easy to make, and they cost very little, plus you can make them any color that you want.
Gather You Materials
Lace cut to the length you want (I used 14 inches)
Felt
Scissors
Needle
Thread
Pen or Pencil
*note: The lace should be stretchy (buy at either Walmart or Jo Anns)
** for dyed lace see my other instructable https://www.instructables.com/id/Kool-Aid-Dyeing-for-Lace/

Make You Flower
There is already an instructable on here on how to make a flower using the boxfold https://www.instructables.com/id/fabric-flower-hair-clip/
Instead of using four petals I used five and sewed the fifth one onto the bottom to make it look fuller. I also used a smaller flowr template so the flower was smaller. Also you don't have to glue a hair clip on this flower

Sew the Lace
Sew the lace ends together. I sewed them by hand, but you could sew them any way you want.
Sew the Flower On
Sew the flower on the seam. Not only does it hide the seam, but it also strengthens the seam.
Finish and Variations
Your baby headband is now finished.
