LEGO Bioshock Big Daddy & Little Sister

01 Big Daddy & Little Sister.JPG
When I brought my LEGO build of Bioshock's Rapture to Brickworld 2011 in Chicago, fans of Bioshock wanted to play with the Big Daddy & Little Sister figures I had placed all around Rapture. Now you can build and play with your own. You will need a variety of LEGO specialty parts, so if you don't have some of these, you can find them on BrickLink.

I have one request! Please use these instructions for your own building pleasure. My design, the instructions and the photographs are all copyrighted. Blogging is fine. Building or copying for resale is not cool. Thanks!

To quote Andrew Ryan, "What is the difference between a man and a parasite? A man builds. A parasite asks 'Where is my share?' " So to you all you parasites out there - Enjoy!

This is pretty self explanatory. So just put her together. The syringe does go on a slight angle to make it look more like the Adam Extractor.

Bioshock Big Daddy Parts

Here are the parts you should have set out for the Big Daddy.

Here are the steps for putting the center of the Big Daddy together. After completing this assembly, set aside and move on to next step.

Build this unit to insert into the body, but set it aside until you have the body sides built in the next step.

Be sure and check the placement of all the unique parts for each side. Attach one side of the body, then grab the head you put together already in the last step and insert it under the whip before attaching the other side.

When you slip the dish under the whip, it does not click onto anything. The pressure of the whip should hold it in place, but it may slip out once in awhile.

After completing the torso, this should be relatively easy. Put these aside until after you finish the arms in the next step. Or, if you're impatient, see if you can stick them on now....

Be sure and check the placement of all the wrenches so they face the right direction. When the 3L Bar is inserted into the cone, leave a gap between the cone and the 1 x 1 with 4 Studs.

Now simply attach the legs and the arms. You can use a baseplate to secure the legs if you want. Then finally put the Little Sister with her Big Daddy!
