LED for Breadboard

Everything adding one 220 Ohm resistor to LED for common works specially with Arduino like development board consumes time. If we have some ready to use "pluggable" LED, work becomes easy!

I saw similar thing to use by an engineering student. Asking him returned that he learned it from another one. Possibly it is known way found by some human.The thing is interesting, funny to watch and really practical. I imposed GNU GPL to preserve it as just another method in Libre Hardware works.

You'll only need one 200 Ohm resistor, better checked by a multimeter. Any kind of soldering iron, solder, strip of male header, some tool to trim or cut the ends (like wire stripper or may be a medium sized scissor) as minimum need of tools.

This is tricky. Initially, do not cut the male headers to make them just two. Whatever tools you use to hold them, longer length of male header will offer you more advantage. Cut the correct leg of LED and leg of one side of resistor.

Now solder the cut end of resistor with correct leg (which is also trimmed). Now you have LED with resistor. Trim the ends.

To solder with the male headers, you need a practical idea about how much long ends you'll keep to make it stable against ordinary forces. Take time to calculate and solder.
