LED Chaser Using Simple Materials

This project is a LED chaser with 5 different effects.

Follow the steps to make this project!!!

Prepare Materials

Materials we need:

1. Breadboard

2.Arduino Leonard

3.LED *11 ( Red*2 Green*3 Yellow*3 Blue*1)

4. Jumper cables

5. Resistors*11 ( If needed for safety)

Circuit Connection

1. Add the LEDs on the breadboard, the negative terminal need to connect with place with GND(negative)

2. Put the LEDs with W R Y G B G Y R Y G W ( You can add LEDs or change the places they are)

3. Connect jumper cables with the positive side of the LED

4.Take another terminal of the jumper cables on digital pin 1~9 ( You can add the resistors if needed)

5. Connect the negative sides with the jumper cable with GND on the other terminal

Programing Codes

The code is given, copy or download the code on Arduino and connect it to USB with the computer.

Design a Box to Put the System

This is the box I make, you can change the look if you want

Here are the steps:

1. Use Tinkercad or other online apps to design your own box to fit the Arduino system.

2. Make a long space for the LEDs to bright

3. Make a cover for the box

Make the Box Out

The box is made of cardboard, the materials you choose can vary.

2. Connect the system and computer with a USB

2. Stick a piece of tape, or paper to cover the space to cover the LEDs

3. Ready to test
