A Two Part Arduino Project. The first part is a functional breadboard prototype, the second part is a failed attempt at converting it to a soldered version along with a simple chassis i made

Supplies

Supplies:

Arduino UNO

Full size Breadboard

9 220 Ohm resistors

2 10K Ohm resistors

9 LED's (i went with 4 red, 4 yellow and 1 green but those colours are up to you

15 Jumper cables

The first part of this project is the fully functional prototype. I used this picture of a tinkercad prototype because its more clear than what i made in real life. By placing the pins and wires as shown above and uploading the code below to your arduino you can create a game where you and a friend race to see who can push the light to the other's side the quickest by mashing the button.

Uploading Code

Upload this code to your arduino for the prototype to work

For the school assignment we had to create a soldered version of our project for the final hand-in, unfortinately my soldered version didn't work. I think it's because i simply don't understand electronics enought yet so that is an improvement point for me

For the assignment we also had to desing a chassis to house the project, i decided to use two clear plastic trays by turning them into a chest of sorts by using tape as hinges. I used my soldering iron to melt the holes for the cabble along with the lights and buttons, i attached the (non-functional) electronics with tape.
