LAYER ART

Hey, I'm Mitul, I'm 12 yrs old and I like to do crafts :)

This tutorial will show you how to build layered paper art out of colour paper. I originally made mine for my sis, but you can use the principles in this tutorial to scale this up or down to fit your needs.

SUPPLIES

  • Blade
  • Exacto blade
  • Pencil
  • Colour paper
  • Foam tape
  • Two-way tape

PAPER CUTOUT

  • select the colour of the layer according to your wish
  • cut the paper in such a way that layers under or above it are visible
  • after cutting the layers, stack them to know if it looks good otherwise cut extra accordingly

SPACING

  • cut the foam tape into small pieces accordingly
  • take the base layer and compare it with the next layer
  • stick the foam on the spaces where the successive layer is not disturbed and needs support
  • add extra foam for more support for the next layer

  • after the spacing process take a two-way tape and stick it on the corners
  • carefully stick the layer together to make a 3D effect

  • here I cut a turtle and stuck it
