Knitted Heart for St. Valentine

I wanted to knit a heart for St. Valentine's Day, so I found a Jean Greenhowe pattern in her book "knitted toys", which is really for a Christmas tree decoration. However, I think it is really more suitable for St. Valentine's day, because it is a heart! I knitted it in some oddments of leftover yarns and trimmed it with some lace and ribbon that was lying around with the wrapping paper and ribbons. Here it is. I think it is quite nice! It didn't take long to knit, in fact it took longer to sew it up and add the trimmings.
