Knitted Finger Puppet

I’ll be showing how to make knitted finger puppets with a cape. Just warning, I don’t know how to knit two sides together, so I have my strange ways.

Supplies

You will need two knitting needles, and yarn

Main Part

When you start, make it a little smaller than to your second line of your finger. Knit it out long enough to wrap around your finger. If there is a way to knit the two sides together, do that. If you don’t know like me, just cut a long piece of string at the end, and kind of sew the two sides together back and forth. It should fit on your finger now.

Making the Cape

Knit a rectangle ending with the strand of sting sticking out on the same side as when you end it so you can tie them together. Loosely tie the strings together around the finger puppet. Put you finger in the puppet, and tighten it then tie it again (or make a bow), that way you don’t tie it too tight or too loose.

Arms

Make two thin rectangles, and use the extra string to tie it on to the body. Put the two stings trough the finger puppet and tie the, together on the inside of the puppet.

You probably want to use more then one color for the puppet.
