Knit Your Own Slouchy Hat - 5 Hours!

Quick to knit. Super easy pattern for beginners!

• Chunky yarn/wool - I recommend Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick
• Circular needle - Size US 11 8mm
• Knitting sewing needle
• scissors

Quick to knit - used some left over wool from other projects. Super easy pattern for beginners.

If you do not like the rolled brim, you can easily modify the pattern and knit a ribbing instead.

I made a few changes from the pattern. Used same size needle all the way to the end. Cast on more stitches to make it bigger and slouchier. I cast on 40-45 stitches. (you can always check you gauge by knitting a swatch first) Knit in the round for approx 7-8 inches. Knit 2 together until you can no longer knit, few stitches left. Break yarn, leaving a long yarn tail. Thread yarn tail through remaining stitches and pull to gather. Sew and weave ends.
