Based upon a 1999 Ford Puma 1.7 VCT Zetec-S Engine with a 4-2-1 Sportex De-Cat Exhaust Manifold and a Honda Vtec Engine of around the same time period.

So this is an engine I have built in the last couple days in my spare time, the engine which I based upon a 1.7 Ford Puma VCT Engine and A Honda Vtec Engine features an Equal Legnth Inlet Manifold and a 4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold which is based upon a Sportex manifold. The inlet on the otherhand is based upon a 1.7 Ford Puma Inlet Manifold system which I quite like the look of irl, as I have a 1999 Puma which I am modifying for Track use. This Knex engine also features Overhead Valve type rockers which move up and down with their corresponding piston. It also features 4 Pistons that are directly above the crankshaft. This means that the engine can turn both ways unlike the other small model engines on this website. The engine also features an Oil filter which can be seen on the front of the engine underneath the Inlet Manifold. The crankshaft is also correctly positioned so that 1 and 4 pistons are running mates, and that 2 and 3 are running mates. Thank you for viewing this model engine.
