Knex Three Small Gear Connection

This is a compact and strong way to connect three small Knex gear when a large gear cannot be used and staying in the Knex geometry.

Supplies

You need three axles, three small gear, green connectors, interlocking clips, some spacers and any piece/connector will do to hold it all together.

Combine Basic Pieces

I use these white pieces to form the body. Attach green connectors as shown.

Add Gears and Axles

Put small gears on the axle with interlocking connectors.

Add Middle Axle and Handle

Put the light blue gear on the middle axle. It seems only the light blue gear runs freely on an axle. Add the turning handle.

Place the Axles

Connect the white pieces and put the axles in.

Place the Middel Axle

Add the middle axle and push it under the green connectors.

Place a Spacer

Detail of how the middel axle is out in and supported. Mind you put a blue spacers in. It may seems unnecessary, bur i t holds the middle axle securely in place.
