K'nex Gobstopper Lottery

This is the world's first Gobstopper lottery to date!*

Plus its made out of my favorite building toy, K'nex!

It has room for about 10 gobstoppers.

The system is pretty simple:

1. You drop in a quarter.
2. It hits the dispenser wheel.
3. Repeat until gobstopper(s)are dispensed or you feel like stopping.**

The mechanism takes from 1-5 quarters*** to dispense 1-4 gobstoppers. This machine is probably better suited for marbles or something more expensive, But hey, if you like to spend $6 for like 8 gobstoppers i'm not gonna stop you.

**Don't gamble, kids. (It has a release mechanism if you spend too much so yeah)

***You could just put in like a penny, but whatever.

You will need:

A bunch of standard K'nex pieces. I estimate about 2000-5000.

So the first and most essential part of this build is the mechanism that dispenses the gobstopper(s).

Here is a handy list of notes for the photos in order:

1. Build the mechanism support structure.
2. Build the gobstopper track.
3. Put them together like this.
4. Close-up.
5. Build the dispenser wheel.
6. Attach it to the assembly.
7. Another view.

So next we need to build the supports for the mechanism so now we will do that.

1. Build the front panel.
2. Attach the front panel like this.
3. Another view.
4. Make sure the end of the track sticks through.
5. Build the back panel.
6. Attach it like this.
7. Another vie... Wait- that's a cat.
8. Another view.
9. Build the higher back panel.
10. Attach it here.
11. Back view.

The bottom of the case is needed to cover and support the internals.

Let's build!

1. Build these corner piece things.
2. Attach the left one.
3. Attach the right one.
4. Build the side walls.
5. Attach the left one.
6. Different view.
7. Make sure to attach this part.
8. Attach the right one.
9. Different view.
10. Build the back side walls.
11. Attach the left one.
12. Attach the right one.
13. Build the bottom.
14. Attach it.

So now we need to build a "roof" for the machine.

1. Build these bar things.
2. Attach the small one.
3. Attach the big ones.
4. Build the front part of the roof.
5. Attach it.
6. Build the back part of the roof.
7. Attach it.
8. Build these bar things.
9. Attach them.
10. You did it!
