Knex Gear Powered Ferris Wheel

Ello people! I am to give you a project I have been working on for a few days. This Ferris wheel is powered (of course) by a motor, but with the exception of a chain of red gears to turn the big yellow gear. The Ferris wheel stands at about 2 feet tall. The 3rd picture has the base add on. This was last minute before posting this. Just thought it looked better. The stick you see at the front passes the white rod about every 2 seconds. Less than 3 seconds, but more than 2 (for example 2.67 seconds). Yes, I did time it. I stopped the stopwatch just about at the right time, not exact, but close, extremely close to what I can get. Ok, this stick is almost like a stopwatch. 3 & 1/2 turns of the stick is equal to about 1 turn of the ferris wheel. The "stopwatch stick", as I could call it, can be on or off with simply moving the gear on the rod with the stick away from the gear attraction. As per say no parts list, but there is a video to enjoy! Enjoy!

What's an instructable without a video?! The video shows the wheel in action with the stick going too! As you'll see, the stick runs the opposite direction of the wheel.

The pictures show you the detatchment of the stick. To pull the gear away from the gear attraction, move the hinges and look at it from the side. There should be space between the gears. Simple!
