K'nex Cell Phone Mount for the Tr8
You're ready for your next K'nex war! Your blasters have been built, you have plenty of Oodammo, and there are a ton of people showing up to the event! You are ready to have a good time, and make some fun memories!
Wouldn't those memories be better though if you had a video of the action?!
"Making a video will be too hard," you say, "my hands will be busy with my Tr8 and NK Banshee."
Not anymore! There is a new innovation in K'nex tactical gear, something that can record almost any moment during a war of any proportions! The K'nex Cell Phone Mount, designed specifically for the Tr8 and similar K'nex blasters, can hold a mobile device with camera and video capabilities hands-free, while providing stable video and great film.
It is easy to build and fun to use! Why not try one out in this upcoming war? You won't be disappointed!
Note: The Tr8 is a product of KILLERK. This case does not guarantee protection from damage.
To build the camera mount for the Tr8, you will need:
-6 White connectors
-14 Red connectors
-1 Yellow connector
-1 Orange connector
-2 Purple loop connectors
-2 "Y" connectors
-2 Black caps
-1 Tan rotation lock
-3 Blue separators
-2 Red rods
-1 Yellow rod
-1 Blue rod
-13 White rods
-16 Green rods
Case Backing
Connect three white connectors together, as in pictures 1 and 2. Next, add two red connectors to each end, as in pictures 3 and 4. Repeat to get two pieces, and connect both pieces using white rods as in pictures 6 and 7. Add three red connectors as in pictures 8 and 9, leaving one gap open for possible camera lenses. Add two purple loop connectors to the bottom of the case as shown in pictures 11, 12, and 13.
Device Caging
Start by unhooking the white rod at one end on the left side of the case backing as in pictures 1 and 2. Then, add a tan rotation lock and a blue separator as in pictures 3, 4, and 5. Then, add 8 white rods as in pictures 7, 8, and 9. Add 5 red connectors and one yellow connector to the tops of all of the white rods, as shown in pictures 10, 11, and 12. Next, add two red rods as in pictures 13, 14, and 15. Add an orange connector between the blue separator and tan rotation lock as in pictures 16, 17 and 18. Add a yellow rod to the orange connector (pictures 19, 20, and 21).
Add a "Y" connector to a red connector as shown in pictures 22 and 23, and rotate it 90 degrees as shown in picture 24. Repeat to make two pieces total. Add the pieces to the left ends of the red rods as shown in pictures 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. Add a blue separator and a black cap to each end of the yellow rod, as shown in pictures 31, 32, and 33. Finally, add a blue rod to the bottom of the yellow connector as in pictures 34, 35, and 36.
Inserting the Device
To insert your device, push down the two white rods on the right side of the case as in pictures 2 and 3, and slide your device in. Then, push the same white rods back up into place to secure your device, as in pictures 6 and 7.
Attaching to the Tr8
To attach the case to the Tr8, simply undo the stock arms next to the charging handle on the Tr8, then slide on the case by inserting the black rods on the Tr8 through the two purple loop connectors on the bottom of the case, as shown in picture 3. Insert the blue rod through the two yellow connectors at the back of the Tr8 as shown in picture 4.
Done!
Congratulations! Your Tr8 camera mount is now complete! Now get out there and get some footage of your next great K'nex war! It's bound to be much easier now!
