K'nex Ball Machine Generation Update
This is an update that I've decided to make covering what I've built for my BM Generation. I'll cover a few things here and there showing some new features I've added. ( The pictures above are just full-scale views, but the images in the steps below are close-ups to get a clear idea of what's what.
The Floor/Base
This is where all the balls are collected. The floor may need to be modified due to 2 balls entering the lift at a time when they shouldn't, etc. (The image notes are better explanatory.)
Path > Second Lift
This path is what leads to the second lift of the ball machine. It starts at the top of the small wheel lift and ends at the chain lift. (I'll change the chain lift due to having problems with it. More explanation in Step 3.)
The Second Lift
This is the chain lift that I've had issues with and will change to a lift I'm uncertain of as of now. The issues I've had were either the chain would click randomly, or it would be too loose, or too tight (during some attempts of fixing it.) I'm unaware if an industrial or Inverted Helix lift will work because I've had a new set of purple RC tubing for a long time now, and I want to save it for a track that I'll make for the ball machine. I'm also unsure if I have enough of the blue or red tubing either since I've cut it to a shorter length. (The red and blue tubings I have have been that way for a long time as well.) If I were to modify any of the two lifts, I'm not sure it would work cause it would take a lot of modification and effort, and I doubt it'd work either way with or without modification. if any of you have any ideas you can post them in the comments and I'll answer as soon as possible or whenever I can.
The End
That's the update I have for ya'll for now. I'll post the next update on YouTube or Instructables though I never posted on Instructables before.
See you in the next update!
