K'nex - SPAS-12 Instructions

Hey guys, and today I bring you instructions for the SPAS-12 (Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun). The SPAS-12 is a duel-mode shotgun, it is able to fire in either pump-action or semi-automatic. The pump-action system would be used in riot control to fire non-lethal projectiles such as tear gas and bean bags.

Anyway let's talk about the SPAS-12, it's not my own design since I followed instructions from the Knexinnovation website which seem doesn't seem to work anymore. After building it, I went on to make several improvements and of course I have made instructions so you can have your very own SPAS-12.

Good Points

· Very Realistic

· Includes Folding Stock

· Comfortable Hand Grip

· Includes Pump-Action

· Good Iron Sights


Bad Points

· Uses Quite A Lot Of Cut Pieces (See Parts List)

· The Whole Gun Is Flimsy

· Doesn't Shoot Because It's Just A Model


Specifications For A Real SPAS-12

· Designed - 1972

· Number Built - Unknown

· Ammo - 12 Gauge

· Rate Of Fire - 4 Rounds Per Second If Using Semi-Automatic

· Powered - Pump-Action and Gas Acutated

· Magazine - 8 Rounds

. Range - Depends On Which Ammunition Is Being Used


In Call Of Duty: Zombies, the SPAS-12 is available in all Black Ops maps where it is only available from the Mystery Box for 950 points. It has a potential one shoot kill up to round 13 however the ammo count for it is very low. Speed Cola is very useful af decreasing the reload time of each shell. When it is Pack-A-Punched for 5000 points it becomes the "SPAZ-24" where you get more ammo, more damage, quicker reload time, bigger magazine and it also becomes fully automatic even though the player can still fire it semi-automatic. It has a one shoot kill up to round 20 but ammo can be a problem if using it fully automatic and the only way to get more ammo is through a Max Ammo power up.
