K'nex - Colt M1911 Review
Hey guys and welcome to another of my reviews. Today we are looking at the Colt M1911, which was a standard issue sidearm used by the United States Of America. It has appear in many global conflicts such as World War I and II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Iraq War and in Afghanistan. It was used in service between 1911 and 1985 and it is still being used by some US forces today.

Anyway let's talk about the Colt M1911, it's not my own creation since I followed the instructions from Instructables member Cazadactle and I have easily followed each picture to create this accurate model of a Colt M1911. The only changes that I made to Colt M1911 was to the trigger and that's about it.
Good Points
· Comfortable Handgrip
· Good Iron Sights
· Very Realistic
Bad Points
· Rubbers Bands Are Needed To Keep It Together
· Uses A Few Cut Pieces
· Doesn't Shoot Because It's Just A Model
Specifications For A Real Colt M1911
· Designed - 1911
· Number Built - Over 2,700,000
· Ammo - .45 ACP
· Rate Of Fire - 20 to 30 Rounds Per Minute
· Powered - Short Recoil Operation
· Magazine - 7 Rounds
. Range - Between 50 and 55 yards
Overall I really like it, its very light, well detailed and it comfortable to hold in you're hands. Cazadactle has defiantly made a very good replica of the Colt M1911 and there are other great replicas on instructables from members such as The Red Book Of Westmarch, BlackShadow12 and War Pig.
In Call Of Duty: Zombies, the Colt M1911 is available in every single map except for Origins. It is the weapon that you start off every new game. It's only strong for the first few rounds if combined with the knife. When it is Pack-A-Punched for 5000 points it becomes the "Mustang & Sally" where they become duel wield, less ammo, smaller magazine, slower rate of fire, quicker reload time and it will now fire grenades instead of bullets. Speed Cola will decrease the reload time to just 0.8 seconds and PHD Flopper will protect from the explosive damage. They are good at clearing crowds of zombies but in higher rounds ammo can be a problem and only way to get more ammo is through a Max Ammo power up.
