Hello fellow instructables-ers! Did you just got a sweet new view and want to take time lapses of the clouds moving? Do you have a Klean Kanteen with a leaky lid and some cheap camera mount gizmos from eBay? Then this instructable is for you. Follow along as I make a Klean Kanteen Kamera Lid Mount Thing.

If reading is so middle ages, feel free to watch the video I made on YouTube:

Gather Supplies. Draw Cutsie Pictures.

So what you're going to need for this is a Klean Kanteen. You can just move that out of the way though. You won't need it until the very end.

Don't forget to draw cute pictures of all your supplies. Okay enough yick yacking, let's make the darn thing.

Drill. Glue.

Now you're going to drill a hole in the lid. I started with a 1/8" drill bit then worked my way up to a 1/4". I drilled into the side of the lid, so there would be more plastic. I thought this would lead to the lid keeping it structural integrity, but you can drill wherever you want. I'm not going to hold it against you.

Once you have the hole drilled, put a bunch of super glue in there. Fill it up about halfway. You could also use Gorilla Glue, if you're into that kind of thing.

Screw. Wait.

Now that you have the hole filled with glue, screw in the 1/4" to 1/4" adapter thing.

Now wait. Have some patience. Read a book. Take a walk. Put on a pot of water and makes some tea. Let it dry. You're going to screw another adapter into this, so you don't want it moving at all.

Attach Gizmos. Go to Town!

Klean Kantean Lid Camera Mount Tutorial

Once it's good and dry, attach the hot shoe mini ball head adapter mount thing and then the cellphone clip thing to that. Now we have a mount that's straight up and down we we can attach that to our Klean Kanteen.

If you put the cellphone more towards the center of the lid, it will remain balanced. If you don't want to worry about that, position it however you like and fill the Klean Kanteen with water.

And that's it! Maybe too easy? Take some sweet time lapses and share with all your friends.

That's my instructable on the Klean Kanteen tripod cellphone mount thing. If you liked it feel free to check out my video over on the YouTubes:

Have a fantastic day! Let me know if you make this or something similar!
