Want to act like an Animal sometimes? These kitty paws will make you purrr...

Materials: furry fabric, stretchy fabric, felt.
Tools: sewing machine/thread & needle, glue gun, scissors, marking pen

Fabric Selection

Choose fabric you like, anything furry will do. This is for the outside as shown. Four way stretchy fabric for the inside palm is best. Then decide the length on arm.

Cutting and Lining Out Fabric

Cut fabric to length desired, draw outline of hand which will be the sewing line. Always draw extra space around the hand. The extra space can be easily sewn for a better fit later. Do this for both hands.

Use the furry piece as en estimate for the stretchy fabric. In this case, I used a mesh which is comfy and easy to breath.

Sewing the Gloves

Place fabrics face to face (the side you want to show off), secure it with pins, sew along the outline.

Sew either side first, then flip to check for fit. After sewing both sides, again, flip inside out to check for fit. If too loose, then sew a large seam.

Then check for the fit between the index finger and thumb, flip, sew and cut the wedge.

Cut the fabric of thumb to desired length.

Same for the other hand. Since most of us have a dominant hand, can use same hand for fitting, it's just reversed while fitting.

The Paws!

Draw four tear drop shapes and an oval with a triangular shape on felt. Cut two sets of these.

Glue gun the paws on the palm/stretchy side of the glove. I angled the tear drop shapes for a more 'natural' look.

Now put them on and purrr!!!
