Kitty Cat Hair Clip

Hello my name is Ally and I am In Miss Lopez's engineering design class and my grade in this class is an A. I am in JROTC and help out in my community.

Cardboard, model hair clips, small screws, glue.

When people want to put their hair up but can’t or don't want to use a hair tie some people want a hair clip, but sometimes people want one that can hold thick hair and want it to be cute.

Research: I've researched other clips and compiled ideas to have to be useful, helpful, and cute.

The hair clips show the way I'm going to make my hair clip like that.

I looked at other hair clips and got my idea

My hair clip will be able to hold all kinds of hair types and help people keep hair out of their face.

1. 4/24/2025 sat with Miss Lopez and came up with the kitty clip.
2. 4/25/2025 started making the kitty clip ideas on paper.
3. 4/28/2025 started making the base of the kitty clip.
4. 4/29/2025 Got a small clip and looked for help.
5. 4/30/2025 started talking about printing the clip.
6. 5/1/2025 started fixing and figuring out problems.
7. 5/5/2025 I started to make the body of my clip.
8. 5/6/2025 fixed my holes on my clips so the screw would fit
9. 5/7/2025 I moved the things on the back of my clips so they went together better.
10. 5/8/2025 began to sand and try to see how things would go.
