This was my solution to a fun no sew Batman costume for my boys! It was very easy to make and the boys loved being a Batman-trio with their big sister.

  • Dollar Store bat mask
  • Black long sleeve t-shirt (size to fit your child)
  • Large men's black t-shirt
  • Girls black boy shorts underwear

  • Iron on t-shirt transfer paper for dark fabric

Shirt

Select and print a Batman logo and print onto a sheet of iron on t-shirt transfer paper for dark fabric.

Cut out the image and iron logo on to t-shirt according to the package directions.

Your Batman shirt is complete!

Cape

Cut the front panel off the men's large t-shirt leaving the collar intact.

Cut the back of the shirt along the sides to form the triangle of the cape.

Cut the triangle scallops along the bottom edge of the cape.

You now have an amazing Batman cape!

Belt

If you can find a bright yellow belt, or a Batman belt you are done.

If not find any old belt and cover it with yellow duct tape.

Your belt is ready!
