Remove Keys

Remove keys from an old or broken keyboard

Remove Characters

Remove the characters or symbols using one of the blade of scissors. Better to shave a thin layer from the whole surface othewise stretch trails would be left.
Be careful using the tools. Don't use cutter or you will risk your fingers.

Stick on Number Labels

Number labels are available from stationeries stores. HK$7.50/pack with 2pcs. Place the labels on the keys with tweezers and stick firm.

Glue Into Strips

Glue the keys on strips of thick cardboards.
The keys are arranged on same strips since the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th must be the same day of week in the same month. So as to the others. For keys with 29, 30 and 31 stand alone. So when the job is done, there should have 7 strips with 4 keys and 3 separated keys.

Add Magnet Sheet

Glue the key strip onto the magnet sheet. Shape the magnet sheet until it fits the key strip.

Place on Ferrous Surface

The keys can hold itself on ferrous surfaces such as refrigerator doors. Arrange the keys according to the days of month and it will work perfectly as a calendar.

Further Extension

Can further add the name of the dates at the top or even name of the month.
