Key/keychain Holder

I will be showing you how to build a box for keys and member tags. The contest i've selected is remake it. This box is useful because if you don't want to put a hanger for your keys you can just use this instead. Also when building this there will be constraints here are a few of them: size of the box, how many keys, and size of the keys. Equipped with 4 key chain holders this product is made as a cheap way to store your keys.

Supplies

For the supplies here is what is required:

Filament

cad software

3d printer

PLA filament is the preferred option because it is easy to 3d print and also heat resistant. Next, if PLA is not available then a good alternative would be ABS filament. Lastly, for the cad software, I chose tinkercad.

My Research

when it came to research I had to look for a problem that didn't have many solutions. That when I realized that not all landlords let people place wall mounted key holders so for that reason I decided to make a portable key box that would be cheap and so that no one loses their keys.

Design

Constraints:

can't be bigger then 8 inches long or wide

must fit keys

Instructions: In order to build this key box you must have and kind of cad software for this i'd say tinkercad is the best. Also first you must make a normal box then you must create 4 walls inside it. that will create 4 seperate mini boxes inside that box. Now put a cylinder on one of the walls of each mini box.

How It Can Be Improved

In order to improve it there are 2 things you could do. First I'd say use a big 3d printer to make the box bigger. Also get a lid that cand attach then come off the box.
