A very easy, no solder method, on how to make a keyboard switch keychain.

Supplies

-Keyboard switch of choice
-3mm LED
-CR1216 Button Cell

Prepare Your Materials

Have your materials ready.
Your LED could be a static color, UV, or RGB, but make sure it is 3mm in size.
Any keyboard switch will work for this.

Insert the LED

When inserting the LED, make sure that the longer stem (positive) is on the left side.

Bend the Stems

Bend the LEDs negative stem (shorter, right side) flushed to the buttom of the switch. Next, bend the switch's buttom right stem. Place the LEDs negative stem on top of the bent stem of the switch; it should be touching.

Place the Battery

Take your button cell and place it on the stub of the switch, positive side of the cell facing up. Bend the positive stem (longer) flushed over the button cell. Slightly position the positive LED stem at the center. This will serve as the one holding the cell in place.

Important Notes

Make sure that the last remaining unbent stem of the switch is touching the negative side of the button cell.

Negative LED stem should be touching the right stem of the switch.
Left stem of the switch is touching the negative side of the cell.

It Should Be Lighting Up
