Ketchup As Measuring Tool

After putting together our new kitchen, it was time to finish up the final step: connecting the wooden panel to the freezer. That's when I used ketchup (or any other sticky stuff) as measuring tool.

In this instructable (my very first) I’ll show you how.

Materials:

-Ketchup

To open the freezer I had to mount two plastic rails against the wooden panel, which will pull open the freezer.

It was pretty hard to measure the exact location, where the rails had to be mounted. So I thought: “Ketchup!”

Mount the bracket against the freezer. Slide the rail in position.

Hold everything in position and get on with your ketchup (the very best: Zaanse).

Put a small amount of ketchup on both sides of the hole.

Push the wooden panel against the marked rails. The ketchup will leave tracks on the wooden panel.

Some drilling (I didn't drill), cleaning, measuring, marking and it's done.
