Jump Arduino

Normally, mothers would "encourage" children to do sports. However, some weird moms, like mine, would force children to do sports no matter what. It was in the year 2021 when my mom decided to enforce a contract about my usage of the Internet. In clause 8, it states that certain amounts of exercise equal to certain amounts of video games. I try to do jump rope for my exercise but she says that isn't clear enough to prove anything. Therefore, I decided to make this machine so it would be loud enough to show my mom that I really did nothing wrong!!!!!! When you jump, this machine will show the message " jump"; when you land, there is going to be a beep sound warning you to jump higher.

As we can see, the box should be big enough to fit in the motherboard with the speaker, LCD, and photoresistance. According to the graph, they are all related to each other. Since this box should be placed in a standing position not lying, the box that covers the photo resistance must be clear out in order for the light to function the resistance. Along with that, the speaker should be placed at the bottom because it can encourage the user to jump higher.

Each wire has to be stick into the hole. For the LCD, we need to make sure that SCL, VCC...etc are on the correct spots, otherwise, the screen would not be able to show the message clearly. For the photo resistance, we need to make sure the resistance is placed in GND, or else it may be malfunction. Wiring or using tapes could helplines on their spots to avoid movement causing a disturbance. Correct spots!!!!

Program

They already comment for you to understand. Basically, the program is telling that if the photo resistance did not get light, the speaker may make noises to encourage the user to jump high. When it's jump, it allows photoresistance to get light which avoids the noise from the speaker. By jumping more and more, we could be taller and taller. The LCD will also show when did we jump to prove to our moms.

Previously, I have mentioned that my device has to be placed in a standing position, so the box has to be flat at the bottom part. Secondly, we could use tape to stabilize the motherboards, LCD, and speaker. Thirdly, the user needs to try and jump next to it in order not to kick the device. You may customize your box if you want, but my mom won't care about it so why not!? Make sure the box fits EVERYTHING!!

In this video, I will use my hand for my legs to avoid dirty feet. As you can see, when our body stands to the box, it blocks the light making sound, then you jump following up with the LCD!! Next time, I would like to **add counting functions** so people don't have to memorize the number. At first, I hope this device could allow me to have more time on video games...However, my mom didn't change any of the policies and even add up rules about me going out for 30 mins longer. It's like another waste for her!! Thanks to this device, my mom said only two 30 mins of game time on weekends and the rest of them for jump rope or exercise. Maybe, a healthy, tall, and handsome son would please her.....😌
