If you're a fan of DC Comics and the iconic Joker, this multilayered art piece is for you.

Using a laser cutter and some plywood, you can create a stunning, dimensional portrait of the Clown Prince of Crime. It's perfect if you have access to a laser cutter and want to add some chaotic flair to your decor.

Supplies

Materials:

  1. 3mm thickness plywood (45*45cm)
  2. Glue
  3. Acrylic markers or spray paint (in colors like orange, green, white, red, gray and black)

Equipment:

  1. NEJE 20W laser cutter
  2. Software: Lightburn

Upload the File

Download and upload the file. Ensure the design fits a 45*45cm work area in Light burn. The file is match any 3mm wood thickness.

Place the 3mm plywood into the laser cutter and start to cut. Align the file to the work area and cut all parts in one pass if your machine supports the area; otherwise, split into multiple passes.

Cutting Settings: Speed: 450mm/min, Power: 90%, Air Assist: On

Once cut, it's time to bring the Joker to life with color. Each layer is mostly monochromatic, so it's straightforward.
