We need molds for pouring in the epoxy resin. I made molds myself, out of synthetic rubber. We will also need epoxy resin for the castings up to 1 cm. We mix epoxy resin, according to the prescribed ratio, we add black pigment powder to get a black colour and then we pour it up to 1/3 into the mould. We wait 24 hours so the resin hardens.

Inserting Dried Flowers

The next day, when the epoxy resin has hardened, we put dried flowers into the mold, on the black base. We coat the inside of the mold with a two-component epoxy resin, to keep the flowers on the substrate. For that we will need a brush, dried flowers, two-component epoxy resin and a tweezers with which we will insert the dried flowers.

Clear Resin Casting

We wait for 2 hours for the resin to harden, so the dried flowers stay in its place. We mix another epoxy resin, this time the transparent one, and once again we pour it into the mold, we pour it to the top of the mold.

Grinding and Polishing

Next we polish the earrings and the keychain with a polishing paper with different granulations from 200 granulations to 2000 granulations. After we polished the keychains we make it shine with the nozzle for polishing and polishing paste till the wanted shine. We glue the pearls to the earrings. At the end we coat the earrings and the keychain with a protection for epoxy.

We take a piece of wood and we outline the model that will serve us as a top part of the keychain,we cut it out and drill a hole, then we glue it with two-component epoxy glue to the keychain. we wait for the glue to dry

The Last Stage

In the last faze we need to assemble the keychain and the earrings. We will need: accessories for constructing the jewellery (3mm thick leather rope, hooks for the earrings and the elements for assembling the jewellery). We insert a leather rope through the hole in the keychain and we connect it with the elements for assembling jewellery. We also assemble the earrings - We glue the hooks for the earrings on the backside of the earrings with a two-component glue.
