Jazz Up a Lamp With a Deer

I like the rustic style of this lamp. It suits the style of my interior. But it's a bit boring. I have a duvet cover with a deer on it, so I decided to deer up the lamp!

Step 1: Draw the Picture You Want on Your Lamp

Make a drawing on cardboard. I copied it by hand from the large deer picture on my duvet cover.

Not good at drawing? Print an image you like. Cut it out and paste it on cardboard.

Step 2: Cut Out the Image on Cardboard

I used nail scissors because it's what I had, but for best results I guess you use a Stanley knife and cutting board.

Step 3: Attach the Cardboard to the Inside of the Lamp

Use see-through adhesive tape to tape your cardboard cut-out to the inside of the lamp. You just need to fix top and bottom. It's very light so does not need much taping.

Switch on the lamp and smile!
