This is a diorama of a Japanese garden with a couple of things on the side :)

Supplies

All you need is Tinkercad :D

Terrain

Use the terrain shape for the grass, and if you want a path use the scribble feature and put some stones in it

Make Some Rocks

Screenshot 2022-03-25 1.21.12 PM.png

Use a flat circle and some square holes to make the circle jagged

you can make some different ones too because your going to need them for other things

Make the Pond

Use the scribble shape and draw what you want your pond to look like, then use a duplicate of your shape to make the water inside, then surround it with rocks. you can also pile some rocks on top of each other and use another scribble to make a waterfall and use spheres to make some foam at the bottom. then you can make the water and foam transparent.

Make Red Gate

Use three cylinders to make the posts, then use squares like the pictures above to make the top posts. look at the pictures above if you get confused. Then make two trapezoid shapes and put them in both of the main posts

Flora/fauna

  • Bamboo

Use 1 cylinder for the base, and use another one scaled up 1.00 and put it around the edges, then duplicate it and put it around the 1st cylinder a couple of times

  • Cherry Blossom Tree

You can use a preset tree or just use some cylinders to make a tree base, then use some flattened circles for the cherry blossoms (the tree doesn't have to be perfect, you can just cover the parts you don't like with the cherry blossoms) :)

  • Coy fish

To make the koi fish, you need a cylinder and three paraboloids for the tail, and fins. Then, use two black circles and two lines to make whiskers and eyes.

Bridge, Bench, and Pagoda

  • Bridge

Use the round roof shape to make the bridge by duplicating it and sizing it smaller, then group and add details

Also, if you want a reflection, duplicate your bridge and use the mirror function to make your duplicate go upside down, then cut it to size if your pond is shallow.

  • Bench

for the legs of the bench taper and turn a rectangle and duplicate it to all four sides, then for the top use a long rectangle with a cylinder indentation.

  • Pagoda

for the pagoda, I used 2 1/4ths of a cylinder and a triangle to make the roof, added a bit of decor to the top, and used a rectangle for the base, then I used a flattened pyramid for the second layer.

Zen Garden

Use the scribble shape to make the frame and then cut out a terrain shape for the sand (not the grass terrain) then put in a couple of the rocks that we made in step 2, then make a series of rings around each rock for the pattern in the sand. To top it all off I made a little rake with some cylinders and put it in the sand.
