James Develin Gym (Make It Real)
This gym design addresses different issues that needs to be considered while making this dream come true. The gym provides an ample supply of different types of machines for a wide range of exercises. Also it focuses to ensure various facilities for the people with multiple disorders so that they can exercise effectively and comfortable. Besides that the gym provides a chance to improvise mental health and a safe and secured environment for everyone whilst also ensuring proper sanitization and social distancing. We made it our core focus to make an sustainable and eco-friendly environment for the gym.

Finding Problems
To make a gym that gives the best gym experience to everyone we had to consider certain issues. So we started our work by pointing out the problems at first. These are the main focuses we decided to keep in our mind while building the design

Environment Sustainability
One of our main focus points were to make a sustainable and eco-friendly environment for the gym. To ensure the gym has enough greenery and it's eco-friendly we decided to take stated measures (The above pictures other than the list are taken from the internet):
- Using ecological and biodegradable materials
- Using renewable energy
- Ensuring eco-friendly construction process
- Recycling materials
- Discarding materials in an eco-friendly way
- Lessening energy consumption
- Recycling the energy used by the machines
- Planting trees and plants to increase the greenery
- Using plants as decorative materials
- Saving water and energy
Facilities for the Disabled People
To ensure that this gym is accessible and comfortable for everyone and everyone can utilize the facilities in maximum capacity we decided to add various additional features on the gym such as(the above pictures other than the list are taken from the internet)

- Personal trainers
- Physiotherapy
- Massage
- Low depth pool
- Slopes
- Easily usable resources

Covid Security
Considering the current situation, we thought it's essential to ensure that people coming to this gym will have a less chance of getting affected. So we took the stated actions: (The above pictures other than the list are taken from the internet)
- Keeping a table with sanitizers and disinfectants in each room
- Keeping a sanitizer beside each machine
- Disinfecting materials
- Proper social distancing
- Ensuring personal hygiene
- Proper usage of mask
- Storing extra masks, gloves, sanitizers etc

Planning
While keeping the above issues in mind we started our work to create the best gym possible
For starters we made a list of things needed to be done, a work routine, a plan of action, assigned works, deadlines, improvement and editing times.
After that we made rough sketches, designs, drafts of the model we are gonna work on and started our work towards the 3D models
First Floor Layout
On the first floor, you'll find a reception through which you will reach the corridor that leads to the rooms. One side of the corridor is open for walking to the rooms and on the other side of the corridor there are two identical washrooms, changing and locker rooms for men and women. After that you'll find a heavy workout room, a room for physiotherapy and yoga and a light workout room. The first floor also has two identical pools for swimming and recreational purposes
Second Floor Layout
The elevator leads you to the second floor. On the either side of the elevator there are gym rooms. Each of them are heavy workout rooms. The second floor also has an open space with a track for running so that you can get fresh air and a beautiful top view. On the second floor you'll also find a food court for refreshments and nutrition.
Reception
The reception is designed to welcome the people coming to this gym. It also serves membership purposes. The reception area has a reception desk, sofas for waiting for a short amount of time, wheelchairs and tables carrying sanitizers. The reception is spacious and has a beautiful indoor decoration.
Heavy Workout Room 1
Now we get to our main gym rooms. This is the first room for heavy workout on the first floor. There is an identical room on the second floor as well. The room carries a wide range of equipment in sufficient amounts for different exercises. The machines are kept maintaing social distancing. The machines whilst being of latest models and maximum capacity is also long-lasting. There are trade mills, indoor bikes and cardio-vascular machines in this room for exercise.
Heavy Workout Room 2
This is the second room for heavy workout. This room is on the second floor and it also provides the chance to exercise in maximum capacity using the latest and long lasting machines. The room is designed considering social distancing. Pull up machines, weight lifters, sit up machines, racks and tables carrying varieties of dumbles to use according to capacity are kept in this room.
Light Workout Room
This room is mainly designed for warming up and stretching. Also this room focuses on light workout sessions which can be beneficial for the disabled people and the kids. The room has steps, stretching mats, balls, pull up stands and other diverse, long-lasting and modern equipment to provide the addressed facilities. It maintains social distancing as well
Room for Physiotherapy and Yoga
This room is designed focusing on providing rehabilitation and physiotherapy to the disabled people and mental health resources. The room has massage beds and tables carrying massage oils beside them. On the other side there are yoga mats for yoga and meditation. At the corners there are bookshelves carrying books on meditation and yoga. Beside the yoga mats, there are also sound boxes to create a perfect peaceful environment for meditation

Washrooms
For any building, the washrooms are an unavoidable part. The washrooms have toilettes, sinks and bathing system to freshen up after workout. The bathing system is specially designed for the disabled people. There are two identical washrooms on the first floor for men and women
Changing and Locker Room
The changing and locker room is designed so that people can change into their workout clothes with privacy and keep their possessions safe in the lockers, There are multiple changing rooms and lockers. We also have lockers at lower heights for the disabled people.

The basketball court is designed to facilitate people with outdoor sports as we know sports are one of the best exercises for improving physical and mental health. The basketball court is at the side of the building

Building this design felt like working on a dream project. We hope you all liked it. Thank you
