I'll show you how to build a jacket with a built in face mask so you don't have to worry about carrying a scarf if the weather turns cold.

You can choose to have a single layer facemask, or double layer. We chose to do a double layer for extra warmth.

Lay your hood flat and line your fabric up.
Cut your piece, leaving about an inch of overhang on each side.
Sew the rectangle together, leaving about 2 inches open on one of the short ends.
Flip the rectangle inside out.

Attaching the Face Mask

Sew the open side of the rectangle to one side of your hood at the exsisting seam.
On the other side of your hood, hand sew two bottons on.
Sew and cut two sets of button holes to line up with buttons. One set at the end of the mask, for when it is put away, another for when it is in use.
