Jack-O'-Lantern With Batman Logo 3D Model
It's that time of the year again! Halloween! The one day to enjoy free candy while dressing up as your favorite superhero, character, TV, and movie character. To bring back the frightfulness and the eerieness that Halloween gives, I decided to create a Jack-O'Lantern with a spinoff on its own. A Jack-O'-Lantern with a Batman Logo! Why not celebrate Halloween with a blend of the traditional and common way of knowing Halloween by mixing in one of my favorite DC characters or by creating one of your own!
Creating the Jack O Lantern's Body
- To first create the Jack-O'-Lantern, create a circle to have a base to sweep and create the lantern.
- Then after using the sweep feature, it should look like a donut ring. (You can add color to the ring to make the Jack-O'-Lantern more colorful.)
- After, create a circular pattern to mimic the Jack-O-lantern's body.
Creating the Face and the Stem of the Lantern
- To create the face, I moved the plane a little bit to the front to extrude and produce a unique face.
- To make the Jack-O'-Lantern More unique, I went with piercing the small lines together to make an uneven triangle serving as eyes for the face.
- As for the stem of the lantern, you would pick the top lane to draw and estimate how much you would need to offset the plane to have it above and draw a circle at the plane.
- Then extrude the circle so that it would be connected to the top of the lantern. Then I added a polygon to the lantern to create the realistic look of the stem
- Extrude the polygon and create a loft and add a color that would suit your own style of the stem.
Base of the Jack-O'-Lantern
- For the Base, select the top plane and estimate how much you will need to offset the plane to have it at the bottom of the lantern.
- Extrude and add the depth of the base.
- Add color to the base. In the picture, I added lilac as the color base as it would fit the theme of Halloween.
Creating the Batman Logo and Finishing Touches
- To create the Batman Logo, I used the 3 point arc to replicate the arches, connected them, and constructed the logo.
- For the finishing details, I decided to add a line in all of the sides of the base as shown in the picture and also created scratch marks to replicate the hauntedness of Halloween.
