Description
J2-K7 and D-18 are one of the greatest things that have come out of my imagination and love for Star Wars. This was my first time using the Autodesk software and it may not be my last. I really enjoyed building this and I hope maybe I can learn more from the great George Lucas one day. J2-K7 is the human sized Jedi droid and D-18 is the small floating repair droid. Here are the part purposes and backgrounds of J2-K7 and D-18.
Parts explanation and purposes: The different parts of the 2 combo droids I have made have a very important role in their stories:
- J2-K7 Hands/lightsabers: The hands of J2-K7 are made to protect people and the jedi temples. Once J2-K7 was modded he was able have the kyber crystal apart of him.
- Belt: supplied with explosives for his many battles.
- Head: 360 view to attack and protect (Based on The Mandolorian's IG-11).
- Droid port: Able to stash D-18 on J2-K7's back to repair him if needed.
Background:
J2-K7 is the main droid who was prior to the Clone Wars. His creator was a Jedi master of the Jedi Order named Katana Usana. They trained and fought in battles together. J2-K7 and his creator were like master and apprentice. One day, when the emperor called order 66(when the clones turn on the jedi), J2-K7 and his master were guarding one of the sacred Jedi temples. The clone force that accompanied J2-K7 and his master attacked and killed Katana. J2-K7 was able to defeat the clone force with the skills he knew. When J2-K7 picked up his master's now broken lightsaber, the lightsaber's kyber crystal fell into the cords and wires of J2-K7, pulsing him, causing him to shut down. Once he was rebooted J2-K7 felt... just that; he felt which was not an ability of droids. J2-K7 started to feel human emotions which made him very overwhelmed. After he was able to calm down from the intense feelings, He suddenly had a thought that amazed him. If he could feel feelings, could he be able to have a connection to the force. Before he tested his theory, he needed to repair himself, so he stole a transport and visited the planet of Batuu where he met a repair droid named D-18 who was tired of doing the same work every day and wanted a bigger purpose. D-18 repaired and modded J2-K7 at his requests. He decided that D-18 would be allowed to accompany him on his quests. So, D-18 installed a droid port in the back of J2-K7 to follow him on his journeys. Next, J2-K7 had another thought. The Kyber crystal that was lodged in the wires of J2-K7 could also be modded into a lightsaber. So, D-18 modded J2-K7 how J2-k7 had learned at the temple with his master. J2-K7 now had lightsabers on his hands that he could use in the protection of him and D-18(or anyone else that J2-7 wishes to protect). J2-K7 and D-18 went through many adventures together. J2-K7 eventually learned to master the force and become the first force sensitive droid. They even met Luke Skywalker once. J2-K7 fought in the Battle of Jakuu and brought many young jedi to learn what his master had taught him. His mission is now to protect and be able to train young jedi so he can bring back the Jedi Order.
