Its a Piece of Cake

This is a very easy delicious recipe that even a 14 year old could make it home. The cake involves only a couple ingredients and is something that you can enjoy with your whole family!

Supplies

2 tablespoons of butter, 1 tablespoon baking powder, flour, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, salt,1/2 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract.

Step 1: Getting Warmed Up

For your first step you will need to start preheating your oven at 450 degrees before starting on your batter.

Step 2: Dry Ingredients

While your oven is preheating you will need to begin on your cake batter and your first step will be to put all your dry ingredients together.

First u will need to start with your dry ingredients putting 3 cups of flour into a bowl.

after adding your flour to the bowl you will need to add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, one tablespoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt into the bowl.

once all your dry ingredients are in a bowl you will need to whisk it till all your dry ingredients are combined.

Step 3: Finishing Your Batter

Once all your dry ingredients are mixed you will need to ad the rest of your ingredients to finish your batter starting with 3 tablespoons of butter. This butter will make your cake moist and will give it taste.

When your butter is in the bowl you will need to whisk it i used an electric mixer but a regular whisk works just fine.

After your butter is mixed you will need to add 1/2 cup of milk and crack 2 eggs into your bowl.

When your eggs are in the bowl you need to add 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract and mic untill you have a semi thick consitency.

If your batter seems to wet you can add more flower and it it is to dry you can add more milk!

Step 4: Transferring Your Batter

When your batter is at a good consistency you will need to transfer it from your bowl to a pan and spread it out evenly so your cake will rise correctly when it is baking.

Step 5: Putting Ur Cake in the Oven

When your batter is spread out in the pan your oven should be warm you will need to place your cake in the oven for 15- 25 minutes.

Step 6: Final Product

Once the 15-20 minutes are done your cake should rise when it rises you will need to take it out the oven carefully.

When your cake is out the oven it will need time to cool this will also help it cook better on the inside.

Finally when it cools for about 10 minutes your cake will be ready to cut and enjoy!
