Iron Man Helmet Without the Face

In this build we will assemble from start to finish a Iron Man helmet, the face mask will be a build for another day

Find something that already fits your kids head

Wrap the mold in paper and tape the sucker with masking tape

Draw your design on the molded form

you only need half the form if you have mired sides

cut out your shapes, you want them flat so dont be afraid to cut some slits in the sides to allow them to flatten out

trace the new pattern, flip the pattern over for the opposite side

I was making 2 helmets so I had a few parts to trace out.

Glue your parts together I use XL-8 over barge

If you did everything correct then it will fit over your original shape.

and we have some Iron Man helmets..... use a dremel tool to sand out the rough spots :)

Other fun things you can build in a day with foam from harbor freight.
