How to make a cheap watchband for your 6th Gen Ipod Nano.

Step 1: Find a Strap.

I used a Velcro® brand Velstrap® of about 10 inches by one inch.  It has a D-ring and a pointed tongue.  You can find similar at:
http://www.computercablestore.com/8_x_1_Inch_Cinch_Straps_1_PID48023.aspx which sells them for about a dollar each in sets of 10.
or at
http://www.jcwhitney.com/cinch-straps/p2019163.jcwx?TID=LC00004&lc=1&JCW_SRC=AFF  for a set of two for 9 dollars
or at
http://www.racksolutions.com/velcro-cinch-strap.html  which are only 3/4" wide but only 2 dollars each.

Step 2: Attach Nano to Strap

With the Nano clip hinge on the right side, open clip and place strap with fuzzy side up and the tongue at the top.  Be sure strap is fully inside the clip and close the clip.

Step 3: Attach Strap to Your Wrist.

With the tongue up, the earphone jack facing what would be the bottom of a watch, place the strap on your left wrist.  Fasten the tongue through the D-ring and fasten for comfort.  Done.
