Invitation Holder

-Cardstock (12" x 7 1/4")
-Scissors
-Ruler
-Hot glue gun (and glue)
-Fabric (outside pattern should measure at least 13" x 8", inside (contrast) pattern should measure at least 5 1/2" x 8")
-Bone folder (optional)

Make 2 vertical folds in the cardstock, inward to make 3 sections. The left section should measure 3 1/4", the middle section 5 1/2", the right section 3 1/4"

Fold corners inward so they are even to the vertical crease on their panel

Lay the inside fabric on the inside panel

Flip the whole thing over. There should be a bit of overlap where the inside fabric hangs over the top and bottom. Add a small strip of hot glue to the top center of the cardstock and stick the fabric to the cardstock. Repeat this step at the bottom of the cardstock.

Lay out the outer fabric (wrong side facing up) and place the cardstock (right side up) in the middle, allowing for some extra material on all sides

Fold a seam along the top of the outer material. Glue the center panel of the seam together, leaving the side panels loose for now.

Holding the outside fabric taut, fold in the corner and glue down. Repeat step on other corner.

Glue outer edge of fabric to the cardstock. Be careful about folding the edges; make folds face down so the invitations won't get caught on the edge as you slide them in.

When gluing the bottom edge of the fabric to the cardstock, keep clean, crisp corners

Fold one panel inward and glue bottom edge in place. Fold other panel to overlap. Glue bottom and side edge that overlaps. For added stability, glue the slanted edge of the panels that overlap.
