Invisible Glue Joints: Connect a Round Object in 90 Degrees (werkplaatsidc)

In this instructable we will show you how to make an invisible wood glue connection without using a lot of (difficult) materials. The connection we talk about is specially for small connections.

What do you need?

- a drill (same thickness of the round object)
- wood glue (we use pattex express)
- a round object (max 20 mm diameter)
- a plate
- sanding paper
- clamps

Drill a Hole

Drill a hole in the plate (not trough the plate) so the round object just fit in the hole.

Sand the Round Object

Sand the corner of the round object at one side so you get a blunt tip in the same angle as the drill you used.

Add Glue

Make the pieces free of dust. Add glue in the hole and on the corner of the round object.

Put Together

Put the round object in the hole and put a clamp on it.

Finish

Now the round object is connected in the shelf.
