Intro: Pencil Holder

This Design is a 3 section holder for pencils and whatever else you want to put into the small cups. I painted it white and black and it is a fun project to try out and use for your desk.

First, you need to make all the pieces. For this part I used https://boxdesigner.connectionlab.org/. This link allows you to enter your box dimensions and creates a box which you can customize the dimensions you want. After you are done, you can laser cut the pieces.

Gluing and Sanding

Make sure you glue all the pieces. It is very important to make sure that your project is sturdy. Once all the pieces are glued, use sandpaper to sand all the edges to get a smooth finish.

Once you are finished gluing and sanding, paint your box any color you would like. I used white and black tempera paint. Make sure to spread the paint evenly and use a small brush for the details.

Finishing It Up

Make sure to paint all sides of the box. Paint multiple layers to make the color pop. Go over it again and again until you have a solid color and solid lines.
