Interwoven Overhand Knots - ABOK 806
Ashley calls this knot a "very symmetrical flat lanyard knot"
Decorative loop knot suitable for lanyard, zipper pull, key ring fob, etc.
First Overhand Knot
Take one end of cord and bring it under, over and down through the bight.
Begin the Second Overhand Knot
The other end is now the Working End (WE).
Take the WE and bring it under two, over one.
Pull WE down to set size of loop of your project.
Bring WE from right to left going under, over, under, over, under.
Pull WE until small bight is formed on lower left.
Bring WE over and (from right to left) go over one, under three and up through the bight.
Pull WE to form upper right bight. This completes the second overhand knot.
Begin to Tighten
Pull on left side of loop to take slack out of lower right bight.
Pull on right side of loop to take slack out of lower left bight.
Pull on right hand end.
Pull on left hand end.
Repeat steps 8-11 until knot is tightened. A little slack still remains in lower left bight.
