Everyday you spent possibly hours on this. This little piece of furniture is everywhere, your home, work. While you thank this marvel of engineering hold your horses, It might be trying to Kill You !!!!. Studies have shown that not having a proper posture while sitting on a Chair can lead to multitude of health problems. To address this we envision an Intelligent Chair with Intel Inside and is going to take care of you.

We attempt to model a person's posture using the sensors such as pressure, accelerometer etc. while also considering ambience using sensors such as light and sound.

We transmit this data to the cloud, and correlate with data from other sources to find recommendations for postures.

This data then is used to warn the person when his posture is wrong through the use of actuators such as vibrators.
