These are step by step information slides about how to make your own Instrument! The following DIY instruments are a Drum-set, Pipe Flute, Thumb Piano and a Box of Rubber Bands. Follow these instructions and play on! Whoo hoo!!

Gather 2 large cups and one small cup.

Make a hole on the bottom of the smallest cup.

You need 3 rubber bands.

Add one rubber band and combine the three cups.

Add another rubber band around the cups.

Add one last rubber band, so in all you have three rubber bands holding the three cups together. And there you have it, your own drum set!

Gather the following materials:

- 6 Straws

- Tape

- Scissors

Cut the straws from high to low.

Tape the ends together and play away!

To start we need to gather the materials we will need to make the thumb piano

materials needed:

- Tin box

- Tape

- Scissors

- Bobby pins (different sizes preferred )

- Markers (if you want to decorate)

In order to get a different sound you will need the booby pin to be different sizes. if you only have the same size bobby pins you can cut them to different lengths.

The main construction of the thumb piano is done. if you want to you can create a cover for you thumb piano and after that you are ready to play.

You are going to need to cut out 6 cardboard squares.

You are going to also need three rubber bands.

Tape the boxes together and carve a hole on one side on the square.

Tape the three cut rubber bands over the square with the hole.

Once all of the rubber bands are taped down, you can play away some groovy tunes.
